Track Name: Hymn to the Hills
bow, allow, the ground, to swallow your senses
abound, be bountiful, with your senses
i found, the fruit, the diamond of all lenses
yet free, for you, for me

mountains are but waves,
when continents collide are made,
that let us only catch a blink of their parade
and waves are but the dance
of earth and moon's enamoured glance
forever in the tether of each others gaze
i'll place, myself upon the grassy green
and i'll be, in the church that surrounds everything

i'll be curving into every sunrise
i'll be devouring every day
run until my body aches and then some
into every evening race
so if you see me skirting the horizon
sillhouetted in some summer haze
don't despair i am but some disciple
searching for an unknown grace

and when my thoughts are screams
i wont forget the calming breeze
the reasons in the ripples of the streams
my church will be the bark
my choir a thousand larks
under the stained glass of a million autumn leaves
and i'll be, upon the altar of grassy green
and i'll be, in the church that surrounds everything

i'll be curving into every sunrise
i'll be devouring every day
run until my body aches and then some
into every evening race
so if you see me skirting the horizon
sillhouetted in some summer haze
don't despair i am but some disciple
searching for an unknown grace
Track Name: Swing Round the Sun
incision me darling, and enter from all sides
engulf me in your gardens, in flowers i will thrive
infest me from all angles, and grow beneath my skin
and live between my mandibles, and guide them to a grin
intangiable pull t'words the eyes, that pierce bright and blue
a gaze that grows forever wide, when charmed by the hue
oh extacy in other's, a fire in a face
i'll bathe beneath the balming beams, a while in this place
to swing around the sun in a new way
to the rocks that i've clung i will ricochet
stand tall, like the oaks in spring sway
above, to the sun cling the day
and hitting the rocks now you ricochet
eloping to follow the sunset
and swing round the world find a new way
to swallow the tired day

oh life is long and love is short, like lightning in a storm
and beauty is ephemeral, and only in that form
so take me down your trail, twixt buttercups we'll loaf
we'll wave goodbye when at it's end, and smiling head for home
to swing around the sun in a new way
to the rocks that i've clung i will ricochet
stand tall, like the oaks in spring sway
above, to the sun cling the day
and hitting the rocks now you ricochet
eloping to follow the sunset
and swing round the world find a new way
to swallow the tired day
Track Name: Eagle Skies
oh i know, the lonely clouds have left for winter
falling slow, dissolve into the sunlight simmer
we all glow, we wash in orange leaves we will wait
for the snow, to settle in our homes

eagle skies, cast another's flight asunder
for a dive, into the earth shadowed by thunder
bumble bees, wrap rings around the flattened features
of skyward seas, sing softly in the breeze

and we will freeze tonight, bathed in the beauty
of the seeping light, searching for a new way
we can feel alive, we're moving ever moving
so embrace the night, exist until the morning light

skipping stones, slam into the silky water
circles sing, serenade their silver daughters
and the rings, ripple and return to calming
silver seas, sing softly in the breeze

and we will freeze tonight, bathed in the beauty
of the seeping light, searching for a new way
we can feel alive, we're moving ever moving
so embrace the night, exist until the morning light
Track Name: Lullaby for Gallus
hush little darling don't say a word, you know you're my favourite bird
oh hush little darling don't you cry, i wish too that we could fly
somewhere away from here, somewhere far from all the fears, somewhere where the sky's not hard and grey
where the wind it breathes so salty sweet, on the warm wet sand beneath our feet, and the steel bars are rusting

there are trees that stand beneath the sea, with their legs so strong and their arms so free
and they rustle ring of bees within, of birds above that dance and sing
and swingers sail between and laugh, for they're beneath that balmy bath, of leaves and feathers swept by shallow sea
where the wind it breathes so salty sweet, on the warm wet sand beneath our feet, and the steel bars are rusting

so kiss goodbye to all the sweat, its density and viruses, and heaviness that loves to lie you low
cos one day we'll see home again, i'll meet you in the emptiness, that shimmers from the land where we all flow
where the wind it breathes so salty sweet, on the warm wet sand beneath our feet, and the steel bars are rusting
Track Name: Rivers
run, and let your red rivers run down, your wrinkled arms and when you're found
you'll be taunted hated burned berated
now, you're eyes are burning to the sound, of words that cripple confuse crowd your mind
rip tear and blind, and reduce you to when you were just nine years old beneath the sheets
shivering and shaking with grief

and still you're shoving eggs down starving lovers necks
and leaving them to wretch up snakes and in that boiling desert bake
and still this red runs down my throat, if i can't think then i can't know
a backwards plan as shown before, just lets the frozen fortress thaw
into my fingers, through my mouth, my arms and legs, my stomach let it out, let it out, let it out, let it out, let it out

run, and let your red rivers run down, your wrinkled arms and in their comfort i will drown

and still i will return to that delicious burn
cold words are candles in my night, the burn it feeds me through this blight
this infestation of the soul, that leaves a gaping aching hole
so degrading so obscene, just let it out of me, let it out, let it out, let it out, let it out, let it out
Track Name: Howl
there's a sound penetrating the air
there's a sound a rollin through the fields to my head
there's a sound penetrating my back
and it's splintering spines with it's maudlin attack
and i can't help but cry when thinking back
at the howl
it's born of squalor and disease
of sentient souls too tightly squeezed
and it's born of festering feet
growing green in the blistering heat
and the air is so thick it's too hard to breathe
in the hell house

and with your mouth you'll melt their beaks
grinding babes with your grinning teeth
and singeing your tongue on their flesh
is singeing scars on a baby's breast
so suck up your milk and your steak
a moment's pleasure, a lifetime's pain
but oh you're doing just fine
just close your eyes and pretend to be blind
oh god i hate some people sometimes
how could you

and a hundred years will pass
and they'll all look back aghast
with the same gaze that we cast
on a hundred years a' past
and a hundred years will roll
and we'll never count the toll
of the ends that we allow
in the age of the howl
Track Name: Open up your Feet
there's a million telescopes pointing at the sky
and if you look through enough hard enough you could spy
a million planets with a billion people on
and some of them staring back at our sun

there's a billion mouths raving for more more more
more than you could meet in a million dreams
and though a billion nightmares knit the scenes
there's still a billion beautiful patterns to see

so open up your skin and feel the morning sun
open up your toes and feel the road you're on
open up your hands and give the earth a squeeze
and open up your restless feet

and in the ning nang nong all the cows go bong
and the raindrops ring ting a ting ting along
and the big moon beams and wishes dreams
on all the creatures and all the leaves

and the ringtangatingtangatoucans sing
i wouldn't wanna be any other thing
to be wanna not being on the earth
oh my god that's so absurd

so open up your skin and feel the morning sun
open up your toes and feel the road you're on
open up your hands and give the earth a squeeze
and open up your restless feet

so open up your nose and taste the roses bloom
open up your mouth and sing a million tunes
open up your eyes and see what you can't believe
and open up open up open up open up open up your feet
Track Name: Red Giant
i, want to be alive, want to be outside, when the sun has died,
i, want to drink the scene, painted on a screen, by a sun that's
been alive too long it's fried, it's baking broken scarlet night
it sickens as it swells and squeals, it bulges breaking newton seals
and spills into a sudden heat, oh it wants to be replete
with rocks revolving round its head, melting marble, liquid lead,

sol, suffer to sleep, in your burning wreath, swallow all i grieve
sol, suffer me again, through your fractured lens, through all that i
pretend to be, only you see, the rolling ripples that i scream,
beneath your flesh, under your skin, a soundless wordless withering
and oh i just want to be alone
to be consumed
to breathe your fumes
to know you're true
when i'm alone in you
Track Name: Kavakava
i lost my feet, i lost my feet among the alleys
and when i felt them, they were cold
and they went green, and i had to cut them from my legs
and by the time that night fell, i was old

i was unkind, i was a burden to my family
unto my enemies, was kinder than my friends
and in a hurricane of arrogance i sought to strike anew
and so i fled, i
fled across the ocean, fled across the sea
cut through the commotion, bathing in the breeze
found a hidden isle, built a towering city
and sired a million, people to live with me
and we engorged ourselves and laughed, feasting oh so very fast, sumptuous tidings did last
for a while

we built great feats, congratulating and exulting
the good fortune fled, up my sleeves
and in my eye, would always be morning
glinting off the statues, made for me

but then a dearth, but then the dearth filled up the valleys
and the battered soil burst and belched smoke
and there were no trees, left to retain our dignity
and upon my statues, a wave of hunger broke
the mouths were melting, into rats and weeds, scurvy lips were scabbed, engorging salty sea, inhaling the surroundings, 'fore they turned to me
and to escape this fetid fate, poured acid on my face, dethroned despairing placed, myself inside the angry aching belly of the city i defaced

and i am kavakava, dermodentata,
obligately agriculturally unable to feed myself
so i am parasitoid, totally void
of any empathy im ringing you im ringing you for all your wealth

so i'll fly across the oceans, fly across the seas, flee from the commotion, battered by the breeze,
find a little isle where i can hide in peace, while a million people hunt for me
while my works of art do fade, statues crumbling, and we forget the songs of praise, as our lonely city in the salty sea is washed away
